This writing course is designated to help your kids write in fresh and dynamic ways. 

Their writing will take place through activities that help them start putting their ideas into words without finding any difficulty. 

In this course, students will

➡️ write about themselves.

➡️ use pictures and word banks to describe a place.

➡️ use personal traits to describe themselves.

➡️ write personal narratives.

➡️ engage in fun activities to write on different topics.

Write a Simple Sentence: Writing sentences can be tricky most of the time. In this lesson, we will define a sentence and a fragment. We will also identify the parts of a simple sentence. -You will be able to identify sentences and fragments. -You will be able to write a simple sentence.

Build a Sentence: Adding details to simple sentences can be confusing and hard sometimes. In this lesson, we will build long sentences through a fun cards activity. -You will arrange cards in the stretch a sentence graphic organizer. -You will write the new sentence you have created.

Stretch Your Sentences: In this lesson, I will give you the tools you need to transform your simple sentences into longer, detailed descriptions. – You will be able to produce detailed sentences that turn boring writing into interesting writing. – You will get more familiar with a technique called sentence stretching that perfects your written language. – You will use descriptive words that help make your sentences full and fun.

Write about Yourself (Part 1): Sometimes it can be quite a challenge to get kids to write. One idea to engage the interest of kids and students is to ask them to write about themselves. -You will write an “All About Me” poem. The poem format will be displayed and given by me. -You will use some ideas from the poem to stretch sentences about yourself.

Write about Yourself (Part 2): In this lesson, you will choose a place you are glad to be in. For example, “I’m glad to be in Grade 3”. The writing format will be displayed and given by me. – You will write stretched sentences about this topic.
