Water Science

States of water

Know that there are 3 states of water (solid, liquid, gas) and examples of each state.

Boiling and freezing points

Know the difference between boiling and freezing and at what temperature water boils or freezes.

Life cycle of water

Learn the 3 phases in a life cycle which are evaporation, condensation and precipitation and what happens in each phase.

Types of precipitation

Identify the different types of precipitation which are solid precipitation such as snow, hail and ice and liquid precipitation such as rain.
